Hohnen Ford
Born and raised in North London, Ella Hohnen-Ford grew up immersed in the city’s vibrant Jazz scene and later studied Jazz Voice at the Royal Academy of Music.
Following her well-received debut EP Infinity (2022) and her acclaimed second EP I Wish I Had A God (2024), Hohnen Ford has continued to expand her musical world. Her recent releases include “A Lot to Give,” a collaboration with Birdy and her first single with Giant Music. In 2025 she unveiled new material including the single “Skylight,” leading into her third EP Incurable Optimist, also released via Giant Music.
The project has earned praise from artists such as John Mayer, Tom Misch and Laufey. On the live side, 2025 has seen her support the likes of FINNEAS and Patrick Watson as well as a headline UK and European tour of her own.
With each new release and performance, Hohnen Ford further establishes herself as one of the UK’s most compelling emerging voices — pairing striking vocal warmth with thoughtful, expressive songwriting that resonates deeply with audiences.
